Bellydance for Beginners & Beyond
Learn to move muscles you never even knew you had! Bellydancing provides a workout for your body and your mind and is gentle enough to accommodate, if not improve, issues such as low back pain, weak ankles, and troublesome knees. Just a few results include better posture, greater muscle control, and improved self confidence.
This class is geared toward multiple levels so all are welcome.
As a beginning student, I have found an excellent place to learn with Jasmine. She is a great dancer, but in her class she does not lose sight that she is there to share and teach her skills to her students. She explains and demonstrates the moves, then gives us time to practice them. While she does lead the class in the movements, she also takes time to make suggestions and give individual instruction when needed. She provides an entertaining atmosphere in which to learn basic moves and get a good workout at the same time. I would highly recommend her class to any student looking to begin learning to belly dancing. — Emily
